Why We Exist
Questions around food security, climate change, biodiversity loss, and the loss of everyday connection to land shape our work, guiding how and why we exist.
Bright Raven Farms is meant to be lived with and learned from, offering a space where responsibility, awareness, and reciprocity can take root again.

Our Story
A little over two years ago, we became stewards of this land nestled in the Southern Appalachian mountains.
What we encountered was a place in need of care, and an opportunity to build a working conservation farm rooted in ethical animal care, ecological restoration, and education through lived experience.
We believe that humans, plants, and animals exist within a shared living system, and that when those relationships are neglected, both land and community suffer.
Meet Our Team
Bright Raven Farms is guided by a small founding board whose members bring together experience in community building, education, conservation, and organizational stewardship. We're connected by a shared belief that caring for the land and each other is work worth doing well.
